Design
The Celestron 114LCM GoTo Telescope has been designed to balance power and portability. It offers a high quality 114 mm Newtonian Reflector, while maintaining a lightweight computerized mount, and features such as the built-on StarPointer finderscope, assist with alignment and accurately locating objects. The OTA has a focal length of 1000mm with an aperture of 114mm for the perfect viewing experience.
This telescope is great for the beginner and avid stargazer alike. It has a sturdy aluminum tripod with accessory tray and a quick-release computerized base and optical tube for quick no tool set up, making stargazing or astro-imaging a breeze. This telescope is great for terrestrial and celestial observing, letting you see faraway views with utmost clarity.
Computerized Mount
The telescope comes with a computerized mount, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. It utilizes the proven NexStar computer control technology, which is a database that allows the telescope to locate over 4,000 celestial objects. It also allows for a flash upgradeable hand control software and motor control units for downloading product updates over the Internet. It is designed with an internal battery compartment to prevent the cord from wrapping during use.
SkyAlign Technology
The computerized mount uses Celestron's proprietary SkyAlign Technology. SkyAlign makes setting up and using a computerized telescope faster and easier than ever before. All you have to is input the date, time, and your location (GPS-equipped telescopes obtain all this information automatically) and then point the telescope at any three bright objects and the telescope tells you what the objects are. SkyAlign eliminates the need to point the telescope north or to level the optical tube by hand as in previous methods, it is the simplest method to align a computerized telescope yet!

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
