Keep single-corded IT equipment connected to a redundant power source with the CyberPower PDU44001 Switched Automatic Transfer Switch Power Distribution Unit. Built for data centers, network closets, and telecom installations, this 1U rackmount PDU features two NEMA 5-15P power inputs and ten NEMA 5-15R outlets. When the selected primary source fails or moves outside acceptable voltage thresholds, the PDU automatically transfers the connected load to an available secondary source, helping reduce interruptions to critical equipment.
Automatic Power Source Switching
Connect the two input cords to separate compatible power sources and select the preferred primary input. With a total transfer time of less than 10 milliseconds under specified conditions, the PDU44001 switches to the alternate source when necessary and returns to the primary source after it stabilizes. This provides power source redundancy for servers, network switches, and other devices equipped with a single power cord.
Remote Outlet Control and Monitoring
Manage individual outlets through the built in network interface, enabling remote switching and equipment restarts without visiting the rack. The multi-function LCD and front panel indicators provide visibility into the selected power source and operating status. Ethernet connectivity, SNMP monitoring, and automated notifications support centralized administration and faster response to power events.
Compact Rack Installation
The PDU44001 provides 100 to 120V AC power distribution with a 15A maximum input rating, derated to 12A for continuous operation. Its durable metal housing fits a 1U rack space, while two 10 ft input cords, mounting hardware, and a cord retention system help organize installation.
