The Explore One STAR70APP 70mm Refractor Telescope combines beginner friendly achromatic refractor optics with smartphone assisted sky navigation. Its 70mm aperture and 700mm focal length are suited to observing the Moon, planets, and brighter deep sky objects, while the included ARTelescope App adds interactive guidance for locating and learning about objects in the night sky.
App Guided Sky Exploration
A dedicated smartphone mount positions a compatible device above the optical tube for use with the free ARTelescope App. As the telescope moves across the sky, the app helps identify planets and constellations while providing audio information, visual guidance, and access to an astronomy encyclopedia. This gives beginning observers additional context while learning how to navigate the night sky.
Four Magnification Options
Two Plossl eyepieces provide 26.9x and 72x magnification. Adding the supplied 2x Barlow lens expands the available viewing powers to approximately 52x and 144x, allowing observers to move between wider views and more detailed looks at suitable celestial targets without purchasing additional eyepieces.
Simple Tracking and Smartphone Imaging
The panhandle mount provides straightforward manual movement for positioning and following objects, while the full size tripod creates a stable observing platform and includes a center accessory tray for keeping eyepieces within reach. A separate smartphone imaging adapter positions a compatible phone over the eyepiece for capturing photos or video of observations.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
