The Fosi Audio DS3 brings high-resolution listening and hardware-level gaming audio to a compact USB DAC and headphone amplifier. Its internal spatial audio processing accepts native 7.1 channel input and reconstructs the sound field for an expansive 2-channel presentation. This helps reveal direction, distance, and environmental detail during compatible games while also creating a broader presentation from standard stereo sources.
High Resolution ES9039Q2M DAC
The ES9039Q2M digital-to-analog converter supports PCM playback up to 32-bit 768 kHz and native DSD512. A signal-to-noise ratio of at least 122 dB and distortion below 0.0003 percent help preserve fine detail across music, movies, and games. Maximum output reaches 220 mW at 32 ohms, with support for headphones rated from 16 to 300 ohms.
Hardware Controls for Music and Gaming
Use the onboard volume buttons to change gain, select UAC modes, cycle through gaming effects, or choose among 8 digital filters. UAC 1.0 provides access to the FPS effect and 7.1 spatial audio effect, while UAC 2.0 supports high-resolution playback and filter selection. Volume memory retains the previous level within both UAC modes.
Compact Aluminum Construction
The DS3 measures 55 x 20 x 11 mm and weighs 16 g, making it easy to carry with a laptop, phone, tablet, or portable gaming setup. Its aluminum alloy body combines a smooth metal finish with a tempered glass panel and a distinctive orange bezel. You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
