The Fosi Audio i5 Planar Magnetic Headphones are built for listeners who want open back wired headphones with detailed sound, controlled distortion, and a refined physical design. A planar magnetic transducer and 97mm ultra large diaphragm help reproduce fast transients, layered detail, and spacious playback for music listening, desktop audio, mixing reference, and high resolution home setups.
97mm Planar Magnetic Driver
The i5 uses a nano thin 2-micrometers diaphragm with a 1.3-micrometer silver coated surface and N50 neodymium magnet structure. This planar magnetic design helps the diaphragm move with speed and control, supporting a wide 10 Hz to 50,000 Hz frequency response, 98 dB/mW sensitivity, and THD under 1 percent at 100 dB SPL.
Open Back Acoustic Design
The open back structure uses a rigid acoustic mesh to support airflow and reduce unwanted resonance behind the driver. This design is suited for quiet listening spaces where soundstage, separation, and natural presentation are more important than blocking outside noise.
Walnut, CNC Metal, and Long Session Comfort
CNC milled aluminum and walnut wood chambers give the headphones a solid, refined structure, while the memory metal headband helps maintain shape during use. Multi axis earcup arms adapt to different head shapes, and breathable earpads with memory foam to help support longer listening sessions at a desk, studio station, or HiFi system. Even during extended listening sessions, it remains comfortable and pressure-free, letting you enjoy your music without distraction.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
