Up Ahead shows selected points of interest such as cafés, water fountains and public restrooms. High Zoom Road Visibility helps reveal small roads, while Free Flow Routing finds routes with fewer stops, intersections or unexpected slow sections. Course Preview shows distance, elevation, estimated ride time, paved or unpaved surfaces, high traffic roads and road hazards. Pin Drop Navigation sends a pin from Google Maps or Apple Maps for bike specific navigation. Ride Specific Routing supports mountain, gravel and road rides, while Road Surface Type shows unpaved roads. Spectator Messaging, Bike Alarm, Find My Edge and compatibility with Varia rearview radar and smart lights add ride awareness. Garmin Cycling Coach provides personalized plans for beginners and guided workouts with heart rate targets when paired with a compatible Garmin smartwatch or heart rate monitor. Track Calories Burned, Intensity Minutes, Recovery Adviser, Estimated VO2 Max and Functional Threshold Power. Goal Alerts, Nutrition and Hydration Alerts and Daily Suggested Workouts support training. The commuter ride profile also shows Carbon Savings postride and in real time.
Connected for More Rides
Garmin Link automatically connects a compatible Garmin smartwatch when powered on and in range so wrist based heart rate data can appear on the Edge. Compatible Garmin smartwatches and CIRQA Smart Band can also provide wrist based heart rate data. With a paired smartphone, control music, view weather radar and wind direction overlays, and receive Smart Notifications. Compatible eBikes, including Bosch smart systems and Shimano E Bike Systems, can show battery status, assist level and more, while eBike Smart Range Routing provides range alerts based on battery status, assist level and the planned course. Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
