Stay connected beyond cellular coverage with the Garmin inReach Mini 2. This compact GPS satellite communicator supports two way text messaging, location sharing, tracking, navigation, weather requests, and interactive SOS functions through the Iridium satellite network. Its bright orange finish is easy to spot among outdoor gear. An active satellite subscription and a clear view of the sky are required for inReach messaging, tracking, weather, and SOS functions.
Two Way Satellite Messaging and Interactive SOS
Send and receive text messages to SMS phone numbers, email addresses, and other inReach devices. The Garmin Messenger app makes composing messages on a compatible phone more convenient, while the device can also handle custom messages through its button operated interface. During an emergency, the protected SOS button contacts Garmin Response and supports continued two way communication while response coordination is underway.
Tracking, Navigation, and Trip Sharing
Transmit track points so friends and family can follow progress through a shared tracking page. Point to point navigation, a 3 axis electronic compass, saved waypoints, courses, activities, and TracBack routing help support travel away from marked roads. The Garmin Explore app adds trip planning, offline map access on a compatible phone, and cloud syncing for waypoints, courses, tracks, and activities.
Compact Build and Extended Battery Life
The inReach Mini 2 measures 2.04 inches x 3.90 inches x 1.03 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces, making it easy to carry on a pack or in a pocket. Its 0.9 inch x 0.9 inch sunlight readable monochrome display remains visible outdoors. The device has an IPX7 water rating and meets MIL STD 810 testing for thermal, shock, and water exposure on the bare unit. Battery life reaches up to 14 days in default 10 minute tracking mode with full sky view, or up to 30 days with 30 minute tracking intervals and full sky view.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
