The Garmin Edge 840 puts detailed ride navigation, training guidance, and performance data into a compact GPS cycling computer. Its 2.6 inch color touchscreen works alongside physical button controls, giving riders two ways to operate the device across changing terrain and conditions. Multi band GNSS supports enhanced positioning accuracy, while preloaded Garmin cycle maps help riders plan and follow road, gravel, and mountain bike routes.
Touch and Button Control
Use the touchscreen for quick map interaction and menu access, or use the buttons when movement, gloves, or trail conditions make tactile control more practical. The 246 x 322 pixel display presents maps, ride metrics, alerts, and training information in a compact format. The device stores up to 100 courses, 200 locations, and 200 hours of ride history.
Mapping and Ride Guidance
Turn by turn directions, ride specific routing, road surface details, Trendline popularity routing, and Back to Start support confident navigation. ClimbPro shows remaining ascent and grade during climbs, including rides without a loaded course. Integrated Trailforks trail data expands route awareness for mountain biking, while road hazard alerts can add community reported context when used with a compatible smartphone and the Garmin Connect app.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
