The Garmin Descent X50i is a large format dive computer built to make critical information easier to read and manage underwater. Its 3-inch color display shows more dive data at once, including depth history and projected ascent information, while touchscreen control simplifies setup at the surface. A sapphire lens, leakproof metal buttons, integrated backup dive light, and 20 ATM dive rating support demanding recreational and technical dive environments.
Technical Dive Data at a Glance
The 640 x 360 color display provides room for detailed dive fields without forcing divers to rely on cramped screens. Descent X50i supports single gas, multi gas, gauge, nitrox, trimix, and closed circuit rebreather diving. Its Bühlmann ZHL 16C decompression model works with gradient factors, while NDL Aware metrics, dynamic depth history, projected ascent information, and customizable alerts help divers understand changing decompression requirements throughout a dive.
Air Integration and Underwater Communication
When paired with optional Descent T2 transceivers, the SubWave network can monitor tank pressure for up to 8 tanks. Divers can also monitor pressure, depth, and distance for up to 8 connected divers within 10 meters and exchange preset messages at distances up to 30 meters. This gives teams a practical way to share key information underwater without adding another display system.
DiveView maps add bathymetric depth contours for more than 4,000 dive sites, while surface GPS records entry and exit points and the built-in 3 axis compass supports underwater navigation. Dive logs can sync with the Garmin Dive app after the dive for review and sharing.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
