The Gitzo Systematic Series 5 Carbon Tripod is designed to offer maximum strength and stability paired with quick and easy set-up. This tripod is constructed of sturdy and flexible carbon eXact tubes and can support a maximum load of 88 pounds. That’s strong enough to hold virtually any video camera set-up. The legs of the tripod are divided into 4 individually adjustable segments so the tripod can be used on even the steepest inclines. Height-wise, this tripod can be adjusted from 3.94” all the way up to 77.95”. This Series 5 tripod is also modular. It can accept flat disks, geared or sliding center columns, half-ball adapters and more. There’s also an Easy Link 3/8” adapter that allows users to attach various accessories like a lighting arm to further increase the tripod’s versatility.
4-Segment Legs with Ball Joint Feet
The Systematic tripod is designed to adapt to any surface. Its legs are divided into three different segments with individual twist locks for each section. This means you’ve got a huge range of possibilities available to you when setting up shots. If you’re on a hill you can adjust the legs to match the incline you’re on. On flat ground, you can position the tripod to shoot from extreme low or high angles. The ball joints on each foot provide even more adaptability. These joints allow for 360 degrees of rotation they’ll always sit flush against the surface they’re on regardless of the angle. This prevents rocking and increases stability to eliminate shaky footage.
Modular Design for Ultimate Versatility
Professional photographers and videographers can find themselves shooting with a wide range of equipment so Gitzo designed this Series 5 tripod to be the only tripod you’ll need regardless of the needs of the job. The top casting element can be opened or closed to accept a large variety of Systematic accessories. This tripod can be configured with a flat disk, geared or sliding center column, video half-ball adapter, leveling base and much more. Additionally, the Easy Link 3/8” adapter that comes with this tripod allows you to attach lighting arms, umbrellas and flash brackets to turn the Series 5 into a lighting stand.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
