The Irix Cine 30mm T1.5 for Arri PL is a full-frame cine lens for sensor resolutions up to 24K. It is an excellent lens for interviews and medium wide shots of your subject. You will get 45mm (1.5x) on a crop sensor. The lens brings a versatile medium wide perspective to full frame cinema production. Its 30 mm focal length works well for interviews, narrative scenes, environmental portraits, establishing shots, and handheld filmmaking. A fast T1.5 aperture supports low light capture and selective depth of field, while the 43.3 mm image circle covers full frame sensors. On a 1.5 times crop sensor, the lens provides an approximately 45 mm equivalent field of view.
Detailed Optics with Controlled Focus Breathing
The 13 element, 9 group optical design is ready for productions with resolutions up to 8K. Low distortion helps preserve straight lines and natural proportions in architecture, interiors, and wider compositions. Internal focusing supports consistent handling, while very low focus breathing helps maintain the intended framing as focus shifts between subjects. Eleven rounded iris blades create smooth out of focus rendering across the T1.5 to T16 aperture range.
Production Standard Controls and Accessories
The native Arri PL mount works with compatible PL mount cinema cameras, including Arri Alexa systems. Standard 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears support common follow focus equipment. The focus ring offers 180 degrees of rotation for measured manual pulls, while the aperture ring provides 75 degrees of rotation. A standardized 95 mm front diameter works with compatible matte boxes, and the 86 mm filter thread accepts compatible screw in filters.
Weather Sealed Construction for Location Work
The aluminum and magnesium alloy housing keeps the lens compact while supporting professional production use. Five rubber O rings provide weather sealing, including four rings around the PL mount. Laser engraved imperial markings are filled with UV reactive paint to improve visibility in low light working environments. The consistent cine style layout makes the lens easier to integrate into an existing camera rig without extensive accessory repositioning.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
