The Irix Cine 45mm T1.5 for PL-Mount is equipped with everything both beginners and professional cinematographers need to create their masterpieces. The lens combines a natural 45mm perspective with production focused manual control. Its 43.3 mm image circle covers full frame sensors, while supported viewing angles are also provided for S 35mm, APS C, and MFT formats. The black aluminum and magnesium alloy housing weighs 2.5 lb and measures 4.5 x 3.8 inches, making it suitable for professional rigs and stabilizer based shooting.
Controlled Cinematic Rendering
The optical design uses 11 elements in 9 groups. A 9 blade rounded iris provides smooth bokeh and adjusts from T1.5 to T22. Internal focusing supports sharp results, while very low focus breathing helps preserve framing during focus pulls. The minimum focusing distance is 15.72 inches, or 0.4 m.
Manual Controls for Production Work
The focus ring rotates 180 degrees and uses a standard 0.8 M gear pitch with 119 teeth. The aperture ring rotates 75 degrees and uses the same 0.8 M gear pitch with 110 teeth. Laser engraved imperial distance markings are filled with UV reactive paint to improve visibility in low light when used with a small UV blacklight.
Weather Sealed and Accessory Ready
Five rubber O rings help protect the PL-Mount version from rain, sand, and dust. The 95 mm front diameter supports matte boxes and accessories, while the 86 mm filter thread supports compatible filters. The Magnetic Mount System also works with compatible Irix Edge MMS filters and Irix MMS lens hoods. Similar dimensions and aligned gear positions across Irix Cine lenses help simplify lens changes on set.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
