The Light Hunter Mini Skinner/Cleaver is a fixed-blade knife designed for hunters who require a powerful and versatile tool to handle game in the field.
Thick D2 Tool Steel Blade (1/4in thick)
This robust blade, made from the same renowned D2 steel as the Knives of Alaska’s award-winning Brown Bear, easily chops through medium-sized bones and performs heavy-duty skinning tasks.
Large Capacity Gut Hook
This crucial feature addresses larger animals like elk and big northern whitetails, preventing hair from balling up during the field dressing process.
Shorter Blade (3in compared to 5.6in Brown Bear)
While shorter than the Brown Bear, the Light Hunter’s blade remains effective for most big game processing tasks while reducing overall weight.
Small Handle
This design element contributes to the knife’s lightweight profile, making it easier to carry on extended backcountry hunts. Available in black or hunter orange Suregrip rubberized handle or in genuine elk stag.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
