Kodak EKTAPAN P3200 is a 35mm black and white negative film for photographers working where light, motion, or exposure flexibility is demanding. This 36 exposure roll uses a multi speed design that supports push processing to ISO 3200 or more, making it well suited to nighttime scenes, dim venues where flash cannot be used, and fast moving subjects. Its wide exposure latitude also supports push and pull processing, giving photographers room to adapt exposure and development to the scene.
Low Light and Fast Action Flexibility
When shutter speed matters, EKTAPAN P3200 supports work in situations that call for higher exposure indexes. Kodak specifically positions the film for fast moving subjects, nighttime and low light environments, and scenes that combine substantial depth of field with high shutter speeds. It is also suited to handheld telephoto photography in rapid action or dim conditions, making it a practical choice for street scenes, performances, events, and other available light work.
T Grain Emulsion for Detail
The T Grain emulsion uses flat, tabular silver halide crystals that improve light absorption while maintaining a low grain appearance. Kodak notes that this structure delivers higher resolution and sharpness than traditional cubic grain films, with high contrast, distinct edges, and reduced texture. Those characteristics help preserve fine subject detail when images are enlarged.
Wide Latitude for Creative Processing
EKTAPAN P3200 gives black and white film photographers flexibility before and after exposure. Its wide latitude supports both push and pull processing, while the film can be pushed to ISO 3200 or more when the scene calls for additional speed. The 135 format provides 36 exposures, fitting standard 35mm film workflows while offering the speed range and image character needed for demanding low light photography.
