Marshall Electronics VAC-23SHUC 3G-SDI and HDMI to USB-C Converter up to 3840x2160p (UHD)
The VAC-23SHUC converts either 3GSDI or HDMI 2.0 to USB-C (USB3.0/USB2.0) up to UHD 3840x2160p at 30fps. 3GSDI and HDMI inputs have active loop-through, allowing the original high-quality source to be routed to monitors or other equipment as a pass-through. Common applications include live streaming, video conferencing, and other PC or Mac-based applications.
Power is supplied by the USB-C connection to the host computer, reducing clutter and eliminating the need for an external power supply. The rugged and compact design makes for easy portability and mobility.
The VAC-23SHUC's simple plug-and-play design uses the UVC protocol to enable it as a Camera Device. UVC protocol allows the host computer to set the parameters for the USB stream, such as resolution, frame rate, and aspect ratio.
- 3G/HDSDI input with active loop-through output supports formats up to 1080p50/60
- USB 3.0 output is YUY2 format (equivalent to SDI 4:2:2 sampling). USB 2.0 mode is MP4
- HDMI 2.0 input with active loop-through output supports formats up to 4096 x 2160 @ 30fps
- USB output audio sampling rate is 48 KHz
- Audio insert capability via 3.5mm stereo jack.
- Inserting into HDMI requires the existing audio track to be present
- All power is derived from the USB port
- 10-bit input sampling for improved image processing.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
