Ideal for portraits or fashion, the 59-in Para 150 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens Mount from Nanlite is a 16-sided light shaper offering a soft, focused output. The unique 59-inch depth of the modifier renders significant falloff at the field edge and therefore an enhanced degree of directional control, decreased spill light, and easy feathering. The Parabolic Softbox comes with 1- and 2-stop front diffusers that can be used together, one at a time, or not at all to achieve different levels of contrast. A Bowens Type-S speed ring is included, and a carrying bag is also included for storage and transport.

To achieve more control of light spill and directionality, an optional fabric grid can be mounted via touch-fasteners. The fabric grid narrows the beam angle to 60 degrees and concentrates the light's beam forward. The fabric grid is sold separately.
