Nanlite Parabolic 150 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens Mount (59 Inch)
Ideal for portraits or fashion, the 59-in Para 150 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens Mount from Nanlite is a 16-sided light shaper offering a soft, focused output. It has a punchy, crisp edge to lend dimension and detail to your subject and produces natural-looking catchlights in their eyes. The unique 59-inch depth of the modifier renders significant falloff at the field edge and therefore an enhanced degree of directional control, decreased spill light, and easy feathering. The Parabolic Softbox comes with 1- and 2-stop front diffusers that can be used together, one at a time, or not at all to achieve different levels of contrast. A Bowens Type-S speed ring is included, and a carrying bag is also included for storage and transport.
Control and Shape Light
The Para 150's reflective silver interior maximizes light output while the removable front diffuser softens it and reduces contrast. The parabolic shape creates even lighting with a wraparound quality and natural-looking catchlights. Its depth produces a focused light with increased directional control, minimal spill light, and significant falloff.
Multiple Diffusion Options
Nanlite provides both 1- and 2-stop front diffusers to enable even more adjustment of light quality. The Para 150 turns into a large reflector that will output high-contrast light when neither of the diffusers is used.
Bowens-Style Speed Ring
Created to be compatible with Nanlite's Forza Series LEDs, the Para 150 includes a Bowen speed ring. This near-universal light modifier mount expands compatibility with an extensive range of LED, strobe, and constant light sources.
Fast Setup and Breakdown
Nanlite Forza LEDs are ready at a moment's notice, so their softboxes should be too. This softbox utilizes a quick-open speed ring with spring-loaded rod locks. Quickly snap the rods into place to set up the softbox, and then release them at the touch of a button to break down.
Accepts Optional Fabric Grids
To achieve more control of light spill and directionality, an optional fabric grid can be mounted via touch-fasteners. The fabric grid narrows the beam angle to 60 degrees and concentrates the light's beam forward. The fabric grid is sold separately.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
