Autofocus is achieved when the two high-speed STM stepping motors are moving in sync with each other. This brings close focusing, no color bleeding, and edge-to-edge sharpness in your images. This versatile lens can do macro-style close focusing, letting you get as close as 2.46 feet away on 100mm or 3.22 feet away at 400mm.
