Brilliant image quality and Optical VR
The included 2 Super ED glass elements and 6 ED glass elements significantly reduce axial chromatic aberration. Nano Crystal Coat and Nikon's advanced ARNEO coat cut through glare and lens flare. Color bleeding and focus breathing are virtually nonexistent. When used with a Z camera that has Synchro VR, like the Z 9, the NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S's powerful optical VR system works together with the camera's in-body VR for up to 5.5 stops* of compensation. As you zoom in and fully extend the NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, weight-dispersing Inner Balance Technology maintains a constant center of gravity. This makes it easier to do handheld shooting with no noise dive on gimbals or tripods.
Autofoucs and Macro
Autofocus is achieved when the two high-speed STM stepping motors are moving in sync with each other. This brings close focusing, no color bleeding, and edge-to-edge sharpness in your images. This versatile lens can do macro-style close focusing, letting you get as close as 2.46 feet away on 100mm or 3.22 feet away at 400mm.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
