RED + Nikon Color Science

Through its RED partnership, the ZR supports REDCODE RAW (R3D), Nikon’s N-RAW, and ProRes RAW HQ/422 HQ. It captures up to 6K60, 4K120, and 1080p240 for slow-motion footage, with full access to REDWideGamutRGB and Log3G10 color profiles.

Pro-Grade Audio

Audio is recorded in 32-bit float or 24-bit linear PCM, with built-in mics offering five directional patterns. The camera also supports external mics via a digital accessory shoe and includes a headphone jack for monitoring.

Flexible Recording & Output

The ZR records to CFexpress Type B (main) and microSD (proxy) cards, with a micro-HDMI port for video output. This layout helps maintain the camera’s compact form while offering professional recording capabilities.
