The 12mm focal length delivers an 85 degree angle of view, making it easy to include landscapes, architecture, and surrounding environments in the frame. The F2.0 maximum aperture supports photography in challenging lighting conditions and provides creative control over depth of field. Its optical construction features 11 elements in 8 groups, while the seven blade circular diaphragm supports natural looking background blur.
Snapshot Focus for Fast, Spontaneous Photography
The sliding focus ring switches between AF/MF and Snapshot Focus. In Snapshot Focus mode, the distance and depth of field scales allow photographers to preset a focusing distance based on the selected aperture. This is especially useful for street photography and other situations where subjects appear unexpectedly. You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
