The Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 lens (24mm equivalent) is a high-speed, single-focal– length, wide-angle lens that is ideal for shooting everything from dramatic landscapes in low- light conditions to hard-to-get, spontaneous street shots. It has a beautiful full-metal body and a snap ring that enables photographers to pan focus with a distance indicator.
FLEXIBLE FOCUSING SYSTEM
One of the most interesting features of this lens is the flexibility of its focusing system. While this is a so-called “focus-by-wire” lens – which means movement of the lenses focusing elements are controlled by an electric autofocus motor instead of a mechanical linkage – it offers two distinct manual focusing options. Choosing is as easy as moving the snap focus ring that activates the lens’s Manual Focus Clutch mechanism.
MOVIE & STILL COMPATIBLE MECHANISM
One of this lens’s most interesting features is the unique-to-Olympus Movie & Still Compatible mechanism, or MSC. This technology provides amazingly fast – and nearly silent – autofocus operation. You’ll really notice the benefit when you play back your HD video and the only thing you hear is the ambient background noise in the scene you were filming; what you won’t hear is the sound of the lens moving as it changes focus. This lens is perfect for tracking action.

The 12mm wide-angle is a great choice for shooting portraits, low-light landscapes and interior architecture. It’s also a lens you can grow with; as your skills improve you can use the manual focus options to take control and set up your shots just the way you want them.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
