The OM SYSTEM MC-20 gives compatible M.Zuiko photographers a direct way to extend lens reach with 2.0x magnification. When mounted with a supported lens, it doubles the lens focal length, making distant birds, wildlife, and sports subjects easier to frame from farther away. The converter also multiplies the lens aperture value by 2, and the camera displays the resulting composite aperture value.
Optical Conversion in a Compact Form
Inside, the MC-20 uses an optical configuration of 4 groups and 9 lenses. The unit weighs 150 grams without caps and measures 59.8 millimeters at its maximum diameter. A metal mount provides the physical connection, while IPX1-rated weather sealing supports outdoor shooting workflows where changing conditions are part of the day. Electrical contacts, a mount index, and a lens release button are integrated into the converter body.
Built for Select M.Zuiko Lenses
Compatibility is intentionally limited to supported M.Zuiko Digital lenses. OM SYSTEM support currently lists 8 compatible models covering macro, telephoto zoom, super telephoto zoom, and PRO telephoto options. This makes the MC-20 useful for photographers who want more reach from an existing compatible lens while keeping the same camera system.
Before mounting the MC-20, update the compatible lens firmware as directed by OM SYSTEM. Once installed, the teleconverter sits between the camera and lens, with the converted aperture value shown by the camera. Front and rear caps are supplied with the converter for storage between shoots.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
