This is where the Profoto Connect – The Button-Free Trigger – comes into play. The Profoto Connect is specially created for ambitious photographers who understand good lighting, but prefer to use ambient light instead of an on-camera flash. So, no need to wait for the perfect golden hour that lasts for only a short moment to capture that perfect natural-light photograph. With the Profoto Connect, you can have the power to unlock light without being dependent on the sun.
Three Different Settings
Featuring three different settings - Auto, Manual, and Off - the Profoto Connect helps you create natural-looking light anytime, anywhere. By just switching it to Auto mode, you’re ready to point and shoot for a great exposure in every shot. This offers a lot of freedom to focus on the image and helps avoid the complexity of using any buttons. When you remove all the technicalities, you can put the energy on getting the shot that you want. If you want to expand your creative possibilities even more, slide it to Manual and fine-tune the light settings either directly on the light or using the Profoto app. This makes the Profoto Connect the perfect trigger to not only start with, but also to grow with.
Light-Shaping
A trigger needs a light, but created lights can pose their own problems. The Profoto Connect ensures that your light-shaping experience is positive, encouraging, and most importantly, easy to understand. When used with a Profoto A1 (sold separately), this button free trigger unlocks light easier than ever before, so that you can create beautiful natural-looking light anytime, anywhere.
Smart Remote Control
You can remotely control your Profoto Connect within the Profoto App. That way, you can indirectly control all Profoto Connect compatible lights in the same channel. The Profoto Connect also works independently of the Profoto app. The app gives you an ingenious remote control that lets you view and control the device from your smartphone. You can just touch, swipe, and tweak the settings to adjust the brightness in such a way that it blends perfectly with the ambient light. When the unit is set to Auto, you can simply swipe to add an offset to the default flash power to make all images a little brighter or a little darker. While using the Manual mode, you can swipe to adjust the flash power.

With the app, you have the latest upgrades available at your fingertips. The built-in Bluetooth will run the process for you in an instant, so that you are ready to shoot with the latest, improved firmware.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
