Profoto L1600D Daylight Mono-LED Light Kit
The Profoto L1600D is a 1600W daylight-balanced Mono-LED designed for professional film, photo, and studio production. It delivers consistent output, accurate color, and fast setup in a compact, ballast-free body. Built for demanding workflows, the L1600D combines high output, flexible control, and broad modifier compatibility in a single fixture.
1600W Daylight Point-Source Output
The L1600D provides a fixed 5600K daylight output designed to replace traditional 1.8K HMI fixtures. It delivers up to 12,500 lux with the included reflector and up to 45,000 lux with an optional Boost reflector, allowing strong illumination over longer distances while maintaining a compact setup.
High Color Accuracy for Video and Stills
With CRI 95, TLCI 97, and SSI 74 ratings, the light ensures accurate color reproduction and natural skin tones. Flicker-free performance at any frame rate makes it suitable for video, cinema, and hybrid photo workflows.
Precise Dimming Control
The light supports smooth 0.1% to 100% dimming with 16-bit precision. Multiple dimming curves allow consistent color output across intensity levels, giving users fine control for exposure and lighting balance.
Ballast-Free Integrated Design
The power supply is built into the light head, removing the need for an external ballast. This reduces setup time, simplifies rigging, and allows easier placement on stands or in tight shooting environments.
Dual Profoto and Bowens Mount Compatibility
The L1600D supports both Profoto and Bowens modifiers, with an adapter included. This allows use with a wide range of light-shaping tools, reducing the need to replace existing accessories.
Advanced Control Options
Settings can be adjusted using onboard controls, Profoto Air wireless, the Profoto Control app, DMX via 5-pin XLR, or wireless CRMX. These options allow easy integration into studio or production lighting systems.
Quiet Liquid Cooling System
Active HydroCTech liquid cooling manages heat efficiently while keeping fan noise low. This allows continuous operation in sound-sensitive environments without compromising output or performance.
Weather-Resistant Construction
The IP54-rated housing protects against dust and water splashes. This makes the light suitable for indoor and controlled outdoor use where reliability is required.
Included Accessories and Power Support
The kit includes a MaxiZoom reflector, power cable, safety cable, and carry bag. The 100–240V AC power supply supports worldwide use without additional converters.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
