Profoto A2 Monolight

The Profoto A2 is small, lightweight, and portable - about the size of a regular soda can, making it our smallest ever monolight.

The compact size means this is a light that you really can bring anywhere and everywhere. Throw it in your bag or a jacket pocket, and you're ready to make the most of whatever location you might find yourself in; it's ideal when space is at a premium and time is short.

Like all Profoto lights, the A2 is easy and intuitive to use; you'll go from box to first flash in record time. Yes, it comes with an instruction manual, and no, you probably won't have to bother reading it.

With AirX connectivity built-in, you can use the A2 as a part of a more extensive Profoto lighting system, and you can shoot with any camera, including a smartphone. In addition, enjoy the freedom of choosing where you adjust all settings. Either via the user-friendly large display on the flash or the Profoto Control app - it's up to you.

The creative possibilities become almost endless when you combine the A2 with the Profoto Clic System - a series of light shaping tools bespoke to A-series flashes. Factor in the Clic OCF Adapter II, and then suddenly Profoto's entire range of OCF light shaping tools are available to use as well.

Profoto Clic Softbox Octa

The new Clic Softbox Octa generates a soft and flattering light ideal for close-up portraits, flat-lay, and still life/product photography with the Profoto A-range flashes.

It is ideal for shooting on the go when you are on location. Not only is it light and portable, but it has a quick fold/unfold solution and uses magnets to attach to the flash head. So, with literally just a click – you are ready to shoot.

The Clic Softbox Octa comes with an integrated handle and stand adapter. And, because of its compatibility with other Clic light shaping tools, you can use them in any number of combinations.

Profoto Clic Softgrid Octa

You can attach an optional Softgrid on your Clic Softbox to reduce the light spread. The soft grid creates a more directed light and eliminates a large amount of spill light, allowing you to shape the light with even more precision.

Profoto Li-Ion A-Series Mk II Li-Ion Battery for A Series Flashes

The Profoto A-Series Battery Mk II is a lithium-ion high-capacity battery designed to power the A-series flashes. It lasts up to four times longer than cumbersome AA batteries with no performance fade. This battery can be quickly recharged so you can shoot for longer with confidence. This lithium-ion battery is UN-certified so you can take them on a plane, no matter what your destination.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage. 

There’s an issue with my order, what should I do?

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
