The Pegasus32 R6 48TB 6-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array by Promise Technology is built for creative professionals who need speed, capacity, and data protection for large projects and backups. Featuring six hot-swappable 8TB 7200 RPM SATA III drives, this 48TB array delivers a blazing 2800 MB/s throughput, ensuring fast access to your files. Its hardware RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, and 50 configurations, with fan-cooled drives pre-configured for RAID 5. Connect effortlessly with the 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port, which also provides up to 85W charging power, while a second Thunderbolt 3 port allows daisy chaining and supports up to 15W power. Both ports are backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 for 10 Gb/s transfer speeds.
A DisplayPort 1.4 connector supports 8K displays, making it ideal for high-resolution video and graphics workflows. Drives are pre-formatted for macOS 10.14 or later, and can be reformatted for Windows 10.
