The RED Digital Cinema V-RAPTOR 8K S35 brings RED's DSMC3 architecture to a Super 35 format built around an 8192 x 4320, 35.4 MP CMOS sensor. It pairs 8K capture with a compact aluminum alloy body, giving cinematographers a high-resolution platform that can move from studio builds to mobile production rigs.
High Resolution and High Frame Rate Capture
Record REDCODE RAW at up to 120 fps in 8K 17:9 or 150 fps in 8K 2.4:1. Lower resolution modes extend frame rate flexibility to 600 fps at 2K 2.4:1. The sensor delivers 16.5+ stops of dynamic range, while IPP2 color management supports 33x33x33 3D LUTs and CDL imports for a controlled post-production workflow.
Flexible Lens and Monitoring Options
The integrated RF mount supports RF lenses and can work with Canon EF lenses through compatible RF to EF mount adapters. Dual 12G-SDI monitor outputs support up to 4096 x 2160 4:2:2 at 60p. Wi-Fi, USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet through a compatible adapter, Genlock, Timecode In, GPIO, and RS-232 control options help the camera fit professional sets and remote workflows.
Compact DSMC3 Camera Body
The aluminum alloy body measures 6 inches long, 4.25 inches wide, and 4.25 inches high, with a listed weight of 4.0 lb without the body cap and CFexpress card. An integrated V-Lock battery interface supports Micro V-Lock power options, while the 6-Pin DC-IN accepts +11 to +17 volts DC.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
