The RED KOMODO-X Z Mount brings a 19.9 MP Super 35 global shutter sensor into a compact cinema body for professional production workflows. It captures 6144 x 3240 images and records REDCODE RAW up to 80 fps at 6K, 120 fps at 4K, and 240 fps at 2K. With 16.5 stops or more of dynamic range, the camera provides broad exposure latitude for controlled studio and location work.
Native Nikon Z Mount Control
The reinforced locking Nikon Z Mount supports electronic lens communication and all Z Mount lenses. Compatible lenses can use iris control, autofocus, image stabilization status, and control ring functions through the camera interface. Adjustable autofocus speeds, fluid iris control, and customizable lens response help tailor lens behavior for cinema work. RED Z to PL adapters extend the platform to compatible /i PL lenses.
Professional Recording, Monitoring, and IP Workflows
Record to CFexpress Type B media with supported data rates up to 560 MB/s. The integrated 2.9-inch 1440 x 1440 touchscreen handles image preview and camera control. 12G SDI supports output up to 4096 x 2160 4:2:2 at 60p. Wi-Fi and Ethernet over USB Type-C support camera control, video preview, and media offload. PTP and tri-level genlock provide frame-accurate synchronization for multicamera and virtual production environments.
The aluminum alloy body measures 5.1 x 4 x 3.8 inches and weighs 2.62 pounds without the body cap and CFexpress card. An integrated V Lock battery interface is optimized for Micro V Lock batteries, while the 11 V to 17 V DC input supports studio and rig power configurations.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
