The RED Digital Cinema V-RAPTOR [X] Z Mount 8K VV Camera Production Pack V-Lock centers a compact large format cinema camera built around a 35.4 megapixel global shutter CMOS sensor. It records 8192 x 4320 imagery, delivers 17+ stops of dynamic range, and reaches up to 120 fps at 8K 17:9. The integrated locking Nikon Z mount adds native electronic communication for a flexible lens workflow.
8K VV Global Shutter Imaging
V-RAPTOR [X] combines large format capture with a global shutter architecture for demanding cinema work. REDCODE RAW recording supports multiple resolutions and aspect ratios, while dedicated ProRes recording reaches resolutions up to 4K. RED Global Vision adds Extended Highlights for greater highlight detail and Phantom Track for specialized virtual production workflows.
Connected Production Workflow
CFexpress Type B media supports data rates up to 800 MB/s with qualified cards. Dual 12G SDI outputs support independent monitoring workflows, while USB-C and Ethernet options enable remote control, live preview, media offload, and Camera to Cloud workflows. Dual-band Wi-Fi supports wireless camera control and live preview through RED Control.
Compact Body, Professional I/O
The aluminum alloy camera body measures 5.9 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 4.3 inches high, with a body weight of 4.03 lb without the body cap and CFexpress card. Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
