The RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED Compact EVF gives DSMC3 camera operators a compact electronic viewfinder with a 1920 x 1080 OLED display, direct camera control, and flexible mounting. Its single cable monitoring design keeps the viewing setup focused while providing fast access to key tools and camera settings during production.
Detailed OLED Viewing
The 1080p OLED display runs at 60 fps with 8-bit color depth, Rec. 709 colorimetry, and a contrast ratio greater than 10,000:1. Fully coated optics provide a field of view greater than 32 degrees with infinity focus. The eyecup system accommodates standard 1.6 to 1.8 inch diameter eye cushions, while the adjustable diopter offers correction from minus 2.5 to plus 2.5 for a more personalized viewing setup.
Fast Camera Control
Two rear buttons can be assigned to camera functions or used for quick access to monitoring tools such as peaking and magnification. On supported DSMC3 systems, the EVF can also help control settings including ISO, frames per second, and white balance. DSMC3 Adapter A is required for DSMC3 operation and carries power, video, and data through the EVF connection.
Flexible Mounting and Compact Build
The aluminum housing measures 2.43 x 2.46 x 4.8 inches and weighs 0.8 pounds. An integrated attachment wheel supports the RED EVF Mount, while the 1/4-20 mount plate supports third-party mounting options. The updated eyecup mounting system makes eyecup replacement straightforward while maintaining a secure fit. Keep the eyepiece pointed away from direct sunlight when the EVF is not in use.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
