The RED Digital Cinema V-RAPTOR Quick Release Platform Pack gives cinema crews a compact mounting foundation for supported camera builds. Its Arca Swiss-style camera plate and safety lock system create a secure interface while positioning a V-RAPTOR camera at the correct optical height for 15 mm LWS accessories. The result is a streamlined way to integrate common production tools without adding unnecessary complexity to the camera base.
Secure Quick Release Mounting
The Arca plate uses the 38 mm RRS Dovetail Standard and works with the platform safety lock system for controlled attachment and release. The base plate uses lever locks and safety release buttons to secure the camera plate and lower dovetail interfaces. This arrangement supports fast configuration changes while helping keep the camera connection controlled during rigging.
Built for 15 mm LWS Workflows
The platform places the camera at the correct optical height for 15 mm LWS accessories such as matte boxes, lens support, and wireless follow focus systems. The Arca plate can also provide a mounting foundation for compatible V-RAPTOR accessories including the Expander Blade, V-Lock or Gold Mount battery adapters, Side Ribs, Anti-Tip Plate, and Production Plates.
Constructed from aluminum and stainless steel, the platform measures 2.02 inches high, 4.76 inches wide, and 4.61 inches deep, with an approximate weight of 3.53 pounds. It supports V-RAPTOR cameras and can also support KOMODO and KOMODO-X cameras when paired with the KOMODO Riser Plate.
