The RED Digital Cinema RED Compact EVF Pack brings a compact electronic viewfinder and the essential connection and mounting components together for compatible DSMC3 cinema camera systems. It works with KOMODO X, V RAPTOR, and V RAPTOR XL cameras when used with the included DSMC3 Adapter A. The electronic viewfinder provides a 1920 x 1080 OLED display for a clear viewing experience while keeping important camera controls close to the operator.
Detailed OLED Viewing and Camera Control
The Compact EVF uses a 1920 x 1080 display with 8-bit color depth, a contrast ratio greater than 10000:1, and a 60 fps display rate. Fully coated optics provide a field of view greater than 32 degrees, while the adjustable diopter offers a correction range from negative 2.5 to positive 2.5. Two integrated buttons can provide camera control or operate user-assigned functions. On compatible DSMC3 systems, operators can access parameters such as FPS, ISO, and white balance without moving away from the viewfinder.
Flexible Positioning for DSMC3 Camera Rigs
The included EVF Mount supports adjustable positioning so operators can configure the viewfinder around their preferred shooting setup. The DSMC3 Adapter A supplies power, video, and data through a single 16-pin output. An included 18-inch right-to-straight EVF cable connects the viewfinder through the adapter. The pack also provides a 1/4 20 mount plate and two 15 mm rods measuring 2.3 inches each for supported mounting configurations.
The aluminum Compact EVF weighs 0.8 pounds and measures 2.43 inches high, 2.46 inches wide, and 4.8 inches deep. Its compact form, adjustable optics, integrated controls, and included mounting components make the pack a focused monitoring solution for supported DSMC3 production setups. You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
