The SIG SAUER ROMEO2 SOR21600 is a 1x30 mm reflex sight built around a 6-MOA red dot, molded aspheric glass lens, and high performance optical coatings. The optic uses a 7075 aluminum housing and includes steel half and full shrouds, allowing the emitter to be configured as open, partially protected, or fully enclosed with the supplied polycarbonate rear window.
Modular Protective Configuration
Two steel shrouds support three physical configurations without changing the core optic. The full shroud and rear window enclose the emitter, while the half shroud adds external protection without fully closing the optical system. The ROMEO2 uses the SIG SAUER PRO footprint and is specified for direct mounting on compatible SIG pistols with the PRO slide cut.
Illumination and Power Management
The 6-MOA reticle provides 15 brightness settings, including 12 daylight settings and 3 settings for compatible NV equipment. One side loading CR2032 battery provides up to 25,000 hours of runtime at the medium brightness setting. MOTAC manages illumination according to detected motion, while MAGNETAC supports automatic power behavior with compatible equipment.
Compact and Water-resistant Construction
The optic measures 1.84 inches long by 1.32 inches wide. Height is 1.12 inches without a shroud and 1.25 inches with a shroud. SIG SAUER rates the ROMEO2 to IPX7 for water resistance and identifies it as designed, developed, tested, and assembled in the USA.
