The Slik PRO 700SVH tripod combines full-size black 700DX legs with the compact and versatile SVH-501 video head. The combination was created for the filmmaker that is working indoors or close to their car and needs a super solid and heavy-duty tripod that can reach a maximum height of 74 inches for that overhead perspective. This combo is ideal for people using spotting scopes and wants a solid set-up that can reach eye-level. It is great for setting up on your deck or just a few yards from the car.
Compact-Sized Video Head
The SVH-501 is a no-frills, compact sized, video head, weighing in at 1lb and capable of supporting 8.8lb of gear in any position while providing smooth pan and tilt movements. To keep the size, weight and cost down we did not include drag control knobs but the head provides the right amount of resistance when moving the head so your video movements are smooth and your animal tracking is easy. The angled pan handle can be positioned for left or right hand control and rotated full 360-degrees so the handle’s angle is in the best position for your situation.
70mm Arca-Type Quick Release Plate
The head includes a 70mm Arca-type quick release plate that can slide in from the front, back or mounted from the top. The locking knob is large and easy to access with the camera mounted. It also includes a release stopper to prevent the plate from sliding off the head in the event you forget to tighten down the plate. The stopper can also be rotated out of the way to make mounting and removal a bit faster. The quick release plate sports a tool-less wing-nut design that lets you attach the plate to your camera without a coin or tool.
Durable Aluminum Legs
The 700DX black legs are made of aluminum and are fast and easy to set up. They can reach a maximum height of 74.4 inches with the column extended and 60 inches with the column down. It folds down 30.8 inches and includes a carrying case for easy transport. The legs include foam grips on each leg for added comfort when carrying it on your shoulder. They also make it easier to handle on hot days when your hands are sweaty as well as freezing days when your hands are cold.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
