Heavy-Duty Camera Tripod
The SmallRig AD-01 is a heavy-duty aluminum video tripod built for camera operators who need stable support and fluid movement in a straightforward production setup. Its double tube leg structure supports loads up to 8 kg, while the integrated fluid head supports camera configurations up to 6 kg.
Fluid Pan and Tilt Movement
The fluid head uses built-in damping for controlled camera movement. It provides 360 degree horizontal rotation and a vertical movement range from minus 60 to 90 degrees, giving operators flexibility for locked compositions, pans, and tilt shots. A side press quick release mechanism speeds camera removal and installation between setups.
Fast Height and Rig Changes
The tripod adjusts from 85 to 186 cm, covering seated, interview, standing, and elevated camera positions. A built-in level helps operators check alignment after repositioning. The dual mode quick release system is compatible with DJI RS 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro quick release plates, reducing plate changes when moving a compatible camera between a stabilizer and tripod.
A Complete Tripod Package
This SmallRig tripod also integrates an anti slip carrying handle and built-in wrench, while the included storage bag keeps the tripod contained during transport between shooting locations.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
