The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX SE is an aluminum alloy video tripod built around faster setup for crews that regularly change position, height, and shooting angle. Its X-Clutch hydraulic system allows the legs to deploy, level, and adjust height with a single squeeze, reducing the number of separate adjustments needed when moving between shots.
Fast Height and Level Changes
The tripod operates from 23 to 166 cm, giving shooters access to low camera positions as well as standing height setups. SmallRig states that the hydraulic assisted X-Clutch system can deploy and adjust the legs in under one second. This is especially useful for documentary, event, interview, and location crews that need to reposition quickly without repeatedly working individual leg locks.
Integrated Fluid Head
The included fluid head supports camera payloads up to 6kg and uses a fixed 4kg counterbalance with fluid pan and tilt damping. The tripod structure itself is rated for up to 15kg. A snap on quick release system supports DJI RS series plates and Manfrotto 501PL plates, allowing compatible camera setups to move more efficiently between tripod and gimbal workflows.
Ready for Travel
The complete tripod weighs 3.7 kg and folds to 72 cm for transport. Its aluminum alloy construction balances production level support capacity with a form that remains practical for crews working across multiple locations.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
