Carbon Fiber Hydraulic Tripod
The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX Carbon II is a carbon fiber video tripod built for crews that change setups frequently. Its X-Clutch hydraulic system allows the legs to unfold, level, and adjust height in one continuous single handed motion, reducing the time spent operating individual leg sections when moving between camera positions.
Fast Setup across a Wide Height Range
The tripod adjusts from 27 to 168 cm and folds to 79 cm for transport. Carbon fiber legs and center column support tripod loads up to 25 kg, while the complete kit weighs only 3.8 kg. Flat feet with integrated metal spikes adapt the support to indoor floors and outdoor terrain without requiring a separate foot change.
Dynamic Balance Fluid Control
The included fluid head provides 4 step adjustable counterbalance up to 6 kg together with step-less pan and tilt damping. This gives camera operators control over balance and resistance when working with different video configurations or changing movement speed between shots.
Tested Durability
The X-Clutch mechanism has been tested through more than 20,000 deployment cycles. The combination of rapid leg adjustment, carbon fiber construction, adjustable counterbalance, and fluid movement is aimed at wedding, documentary, event, travel, and location filmmakers who regularly need to set up, shoot, and reposition.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
