The Sony RX10 V combines a 24-600 mm ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T F2.4 to F4.0 lens, 25x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and a 20.1 MP 1-type sensor. Macro focusing reaches 3 cm, 1.18 inches, at 24 mm and 72 cm, 28.3 inches, at 600 mm. The BIONZ XR engine keeps noise low at mid to high ISO with accurate color and texture. Twelve customizable Creative Look presets and D-Range Optimizer up to Lv8 balance color, highlights, and shadows.
AI-powered Real-time Recognition AF recognizes people, animals, birds, insects, cars, trains, and airplanes, and Auto mode identifies subject type. Human pose estimation tracks people even when they turn away or wear helmets or sunglasses, and Real-time Tracking follows a selected subject. The RX10 V shoots up to 30 fps with blackout free continuous shooting, performs up to 60 AF and AE calculations per second, and Continuous Shooting Speed Boost increases burst speed.
Video features include up to 4K 120p recording, 4K slow motion up to 5x, Active Mode stabilization, Auto Framing, S-Cinetone, S-Log3, up to 16 user LUTs with graded monitoring in Log, digital audio through the Multi Interface Shoe with compatible microphones, time lapse, and still image extraction with Shot Mark.
