Exceptional Sound Quality
The STR-DH770 provides 145 watts of power across 7 channels for a total of 1,015 total watts of power. With that much wattage, this receiver can easily scale up from small satellite speakers to larger floor standing speakers without sacrificing sound quality. The receiver also has the ability to simulate surround sound using just two front-facing speakers if you don’t own a home theater system but still want the experience.
Fully 4K HDR Compatible
The STR-DH770 offers 5 HDMI ports that are 4K HDR compatible so it will be able to display the ultra-high resolution video content that’s starting to become more common as production companies experiment with the format. It’s also compatible with HDCP 2.2 content protection software which is the latest evolution of copy protection technology. HDCP 2.2 prevents 4K content from being illegally copied, but if you own a television, home theater system or other component that doesn’t support HDCP 2.2, you won’t be able to watch protected content at all. Because the STR-DH770 is compatible with these emerging technologies, you won’t have to worry about replacing it any time in the near future.
HD-Digital Cinema Sound
For those who have a full 7.2 channel home theater array, the STR-DH770 offers HD-Digital Cinema Sound which allows you to calibrate audio delivery to more closely mimic movie theater sound characteristics. Front Height mode enables vocal height and 3D effects for improved effects positioning and added depth. Imagine as a helicopter descends from above and lands right in front of you – you’ll hear the change in height as the effect unfolds on-screen.
Bluetooth and NFC for Easy Wireless Streaming
Stream and control your Bluetooth audio experience with compatible music devices, smartphone, tablet, or computer and digital music players. Or, if you have an Android device with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, simply touch the device to the receiver to make a wireless connection. You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
