The Sony Alpha ZV-E10 II Camera and 16 to 50mm Lens Kit in White
use Sony's most advanced sensor technology, an APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R
CMOS picture sensor with about 26.0 megapixels. The new BIONZ XR picture
processing engine gives outstanding detail and sharpness, with a typical ISO
range of 100 to 320002. Because of the high-speed readout, 5.6K oversampling
compresses a large quantity of information into gorgeous 4K 60p footage (QFHD:
3840 x 2160). The ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of Sony E-mount
lenses, including the G Master series, which combines astounding resolution
with perfect bokeh, and the G Lens series, which provides first-class image
quality. The ZV-E10 II lens package includes the versatile E PZ 16-50mm
F3.5-5.6 OSS II zoom lens.
Expressive Cinematic Camera
The Creative Look tool makes it simple to create expressive moods for stills
and movies in-camera, with 10 presets that may be used as-is or tweaked. For
even more expressive options, use the My Image Style tool. When shooting in
Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, users can simply modify the
background bokeh, brightness, and color tone using touch screen icons.
Cinematic Setting offers an easy way to generate cinematic footage without the
need for complex camera settings. Use the five 'Looks', such as S-Cinetone,
which improves skin tones, and 'Moods,' which accentuate specific colors, to
create cinematic film that matches the scene and your vision.
All-New Autofocus
The new BIONZ XR image processing engine and enhanced algorithms result in
noticeably better AF performance. The high-density array of 759 focal plane
phase-detection AF points provides smooth and precise focus. Real-time Eye AF
identifies human faces and eyes, as well as animal and bird eyes, with high
precision, resulting in continuously accurate and stable focus. Real-time
tracking ensures that the subject remains in focus even as it moves around the
frame.
Capture Stunning Visuals
The camera reliably represents the colors and textures of human skin regardless
of lighting. It captures better-looking skin tones and highlights roll-off in
portraits thanks to improved gradation rendering capabilities, and skin tones
are tuned separately for stills and videos. With capture speeds of up to 60 fps
in 4K and 120 fps in Full HD, easily shoot spectacular motion sequences at
5x slow motion (HD 24p playback). Time-lapse videos can be made in-camera, with
exposure intervals ranging from 1 to 60 seconds. The camera's electronic
shutter allows for continuous still shooting at up to 11 frames per second with
complete AF and AE tracking.
Advanced Stability
Active Mode electronic image stabilization uses a precision gyroscope and the
latest algorithms to effectively assess and adjust for camera shake,
resulting in very effective stabilization without compromising mobility, even
during 4K filming. With supported lenses, breathing compensation
automatically adapts for slight angle-of-view shifts when the lens focus
changes, allowing for distraction-free rack focusing.
Microphone and Windscreen
A proficient 3-capsule directional microphone provides exceptional pickup
and noise reduction performance, making it more simpler to capture clear,
excellent audio. To adapt to different recording conditions and environments,
select Auto or Front, Rear, or All Directions. The ZV-E10 II comes with a
windscreen to help decrease noise when shooting outside. The camera's Multi
Interface (Ml) Shoe supports digital audio interfaces, allowing for the direct
transfer of high-quality digital audio with little degradation to the camera
via external microphones such as the optional ECM series.
Intuitive Operation
The ZV-E10 II supports a variety of recording formats, including 10-bit 4:2:2
video and All-Intra compression at up to 4K 60p. Metadata can be imported,
allowing for efficient post-production in tools such as Catalyst Browse,
Catalyst Prepare, Plugin, and Master Cut. The vast dynamic range of S-Log3
recording brings out the finest in filmed material, giving you extensive
post-processing options for really refined movie visuals. The arrangement of
the shooting information provided on the display automatically adjusts between
horizontal and vertical orientations, meeting your needs in every scenario.
Easily shoot in any social media format with the vari-angle LCD monitor
that enables shooting from almost any angle. Swiping in from the left or
right side of the shooting display displays touch icons that let you to quickly
alter the shooting mode and other settings. Swiping up on the monitor will
reveal the function (Fn) menu. The C1 (Custom 1) button can be set to a
frequently used function for easy one-touch access. For example, the default
setting Background Defocus allows you to quickly and simply alter the amount of
background blur to highlight a key topic. The Product Showcase button makes it
simple to record product videos by effortlessly transferring the emphasis from
a face to a product. The Fn (Function) button can be configured to provide a
fast menu of frequently used functions. In viewing mode, the Smartphone
transmission (Send to Smartphone) button activates the display for image
transmission to a smartphone. Finally, the ZV-E10 II supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi,
which makes it suitable for wireless live streaming. The SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps
(USB 3.2) Type-C port also enables high-speed cable transfer to a PC or
smartphone for simple post-production and sharing on social media.
