The original Spyderco Matriarch was inspired by a request from Spyderco’s South African distributor for a more economical version of the Civilian. The Spyderco Matriarch 2 Folding Knife with Emerson opener and Black SpyderEdge Blade is the latest expression of that concept, combining the Civilian’s aggressive blade shape and Reverse ‘S’ edge profile with the lightweight handle construction of the best-selling Endura 4. The result is a knife that provides extreme cutting performance in a convenient, lightweight package. Its SpyderEdge 3.57-inch VG-10 stainless steel blade is scientifically designed to maximize cutting performance and its sturdy back lock mechanism, four-position clip, and round hole ensure unmatched carry versatility and high-speed deployment with either hand. Offering completely ambidextrous operation, the Matriarch 2 features a four-position clip, a sturdy back lock mechanism, a hollow grind, skeletonized stainless steel liners, and a Bi-Directional-Textured fiberglass-reinforced-nylon handle. It features the Emerson wave opener for quick and effortless deployment, allowing the blade to open automatically as it is drawn from the pocket. Thanks to the opener and a small integral hook on the spine of the blade, the latest version of the Matriarch 2 raises the bar even further by offering the ultimate in high-speed deployment.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
