The SWAROVSKI OPTIK EL Range 8 x 32 Lightweight and Compact Binocular is your companion for all adventure trips. At just 24 ounces, it is an ideal choice for hunting scenarios such as mountain hunts. The measurement and projection of information to the viewing channel is contributed by electronics that are concealed in a single fin on the right hand side. It features a balanced optics concept to deliver outstanding results with intricate details. The top of the bridge features the measurement and mode buttons. Allowing further customization is the EL Range Configurator which helps users to select whether the left or right button will be assigned for measurement function. The other button then serves as the mode button. By default, the measurement function is assigned to the button on the right. The single bridge allows the EL Range 32 binoculars serve as a user-friendly model, even for those who have larger hands. It uses the same magnesium housing technology that is used in the EL Range 42. The configurator app automatically detects the model whether 32 or 42. EL 32 also makes an ideal choice for everyday hunting situations thanks to its small and lightweight optical design that can be combined with a thermal imaging device. It does not come with SWAROVISION. However, it impresses with its HD optical quality. It is available in a green finish.
Three Ballistics Curve
This binocular consists of three different ballistic curves that can be fed into it via a Bluetooth interface. This user-friendly model allows you to adjust the ballistics settings on the binocular itself. These settings can be configured using the EL Range Configurator App.
Measurement of Range
Based on a travel time measurement, the range of the EL range can be measured between 10 meters (10 yards) and 2000 meters (2200 yards) for the EL Range 42mm.
Making One-Off Measurements
To measure on-off measurement, briefly press the measurement button. This will display the target mark. After releasing the button, the range measurement can be viewed on the display.
Scanning Mode
This mode in the EL Range continuously measures the moving targets. If you press and hold the measurement button for three seconds, it automatically switches to scan mode. Next to the range measurement is a tilt sensor that takes information of measured angles. It also allows you to take temperature and air pressure readings since these attributes can majorly affect a projectile’s trajectory especially true in case of distances afar.
