The Thypoch Simera 28mm f/1.4 Lens gives Sony E-Mount photographers a fast full frame manual prime for environmental portraits, street scenes, travel work, night photography, and creative video capture. Its 28mm field of view balances subject context with close, intimate framing, while the large f/1.4 aperture helps separate subjects and work in available light.
Fast 28mm Full Frame Perspective
The Simera 28mm covers a 43.2mm full frame image circle and uses a 14 blade diaphragm for rounded highlights and artistic starburst effects. A 0.4m close focus distance lets photographers move in for detail shots while still keeping surrounding context in the frame, making the lens useful for everyday documentary work and expressive environmental portraits.
High-quality Optical Design
The optical construction uses 11 elements in 7 groups, including 1 aspherical element, 1 extra low dispersion element, and 3 high refractive index elements with a floating lens group. This design supports sharp rendering from infinity to close focus while giving users direct manual focus control through a fully mechanical lens structure.
Vintage Inspired Mechanical Control
The aluminum alloy body includes a depth of field scale and tactile manual controls. A click/declick aperture mechanism supports both still photography and video workflows.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
