The Thypoch Simera 28mm f/1.4 Lens gives photographers a fast full frame manual prime for environmental portraits, street scenes, travel, night photography, documentary work, and creative video. Its 28mm field of view balances subject presence with surrounding context, while the large f/1.4 aperture supports available light shooting and selective focus control.
Fast 28 mm Full Frame Perspective
The Simera 28mm covers a 43.2 mm full frame image circle and provides a natural wide angle perspective for everyday storytelling. A 0.4m minimum focus distance lets creators move in for detail shots while still showing the surrounding environment, making the lens useful for close environmental portraits, product details, street work, and travel scenes.
Special Glass and 14 Blade Iris Design
The optical design uses 11 elements in 7 groups, including 1 aspherical element, 1 extra low dispersion element, 3 high refractive index elements, and a floating lens group. The 14 blade diaphragm supports rounded highlights and artistic starburst effects, helping still photographers and video creators shape the look of out of focus areas and point light sources.
Mechanical Control for Canon RF Creators
The aluminum alloy body includes tactile manual controls, a depth of field scale, and a click/declick aperture mechanism for switching between still photography and video workflows. The Canon RF version uses a 49mm filter thread, measures approximately 68.6 mm without the hood, and weighs approximately 353 g for a compact manual lens setup.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
