The Thypoch Simera 28mm f/1.4 Lens gives creators and photographers a fast manual prime for portraits, street scenes, travel, documentary work, night photography, and creative video. Its 28mm focal length gives a versatile everyday perspective, while the large f/1.4 aperture helps create subject separation and supports available light shooting.
Fast 28 mm Manual Perspective
The Simera 28mm uses a bright T1.4 to T16 aperture range and a 14 blade diaphragm for rounded highlights and expressive starburst effects. A 0.4m minimum focus distance lets photographers move in for close details while keeping surrounding context in the frame, making the lens useful for environmental portraits, tabletop details, street work, and travel scenes.
Special Glass and Floating Lens Group
The optical design uses 11 elements in 7 groups, including 1 aspherical element, 1 extra low dispersion element, 3 high refractive index elements, and a floating lens group. This construction supports sharp rendering from infinity to close focus while keeping the lens compact enough for everyday camera bag use.
Mechanical Control for FUJIFILM X Creators
The aluminum alloy body includes tactile manual controls and a click/declick aperture mechanism for switching between still photography and video workflows. The FUJIFILM X version has a 49mm filter sizes, measures approximately 70.1 mm without the hood, and weighs approximately 347 g for a compact manual lens setup.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
