Build a protected, power ready Sony FX5 rig with a formfitting cage and a compact V Mount battery support system. The Tilta Camera Cage Power Kit combines a modular full cage with an adjustable battery receiver, Mini PD V Mount battery plate, and 100 W USB-C power cable. The cage protects the camera body while preserving access to native controls, and the power components keep the rear of the rig adaptable for different battery sizes and shooting positions.
Full Camera Cage for Sony FX5
The aluminum alloy cage secures the FX5 at three points and uses reinforced corners to help guard the body during active production. Remove two bottom screws and the handle side bracket to convert the full cage into a lighter half cage. Top and side NATO rails, a cold shoe, and multiple 1/4 inch 20 and 3/8 inch 16 mounting points support monitors, handles, arms, and other rig accessories. A bidirectional ARCA bottom plate slides in from either direction for faster transitions between compatible support systems while a dedicated gimbal center point helps simplify balancing.
Adjustable ARCA Receiver
The receiver mounts the battery plate through an ARCA type quick release connection, reducing the need for a traditional baseplate and 15 mm rod setup. It extends up to 1.5 inches and the swivel hinge adjusts the battery angle up to 180 degrees, giving more control over clearance and rig balance.
Mini PD V Mount Battery Plate
The V Mount plate provides 60 W USB-C PD plus D Tap and 2 pin LEMO type power outputs for cameras and accessories. Integrated strap slots accept the supplied security strap, while top mounting threads add options for alternate rig positions.
100 W Right Angle USB-C Power Cable
The 35 cm cable supports up to 100 W USB Power Delivery and pairs a straight USB-C connector with a right angle USB-C connector. Its short length helps route power cleanly around cages and battery plates without excess cable around the camera.
This four component power kit gives Sony FX5 users a modular cage, broad accessory mounting, flexible support transitions, and V Mount battery integration in one coordinated rigging system.
