An external flash unit is one of the first accessories you should invest in once you’ve gotten familiar with your DSLR camera. On-board flash bulbs that are built into most modern cameras often result in red eye and harsh, blown-out photographs, but the use of a separate flash unit can reduce or eliminate these problems. Additionally, the Vivitar DF-283-PEN flash unit has a number of other features to improve your photographs and offer even more creative options. The DF-283-PEN utilizes TTL Metering which is allows the unit to calculate the amount of light necessary for the exposure by firing a series of short flashes and then measuring the amount of light returned through the camera lens. The unit’s four-position zoom can cover a focal length of 24mm, 35mm, and 85mm. It can also be set to bounce flash at 0 degree, 45 degree, 60 degree. 74 degree, and 90 degree angles for maximum versatility. This unit also comes with a reflecting plate and wide angle diffuser to add even more functionality.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
