The Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56 FFP riflescope combines high magnification, a large objective lens, and precise MOA based controls for detailed observation and adjustment at extended distances. Its 6x to 36x magnification range provides a wide working range for locating, identifying, and examining distant targets. The 56 mm objective supports a bright viewing image, while the first focal plane VMR-5 MOA reticle remains proportionate to the viewed image throughout the zoom range.
Detailed Optics and Consistent Reticle Scale
The high definition optical system is engineered to provide strong resolution, contrast, and edge to edge sharpness. Apochromatic and optically indexed lens elements help control color variation and preserve detail across the field of view. The first focal plane configuration keeps reticle subtensions consistent at every magnification, allowing the shooter to use the same MOA references without limiting calculations to one power setting.
Precise Controls for Long Range Use
Exposed locking turrets provide direct access to elevation and windage adjustments while helping prevent unintended movement. Each click represents 1/4 MOA, and the elevation turret provides 25 MOA of travel per rotation. The L-Tec Plus zero system uses captive components and a micro adjustment dial for refined zero placement. A visible and tactile rotation indicator helps the user track the elevation turret position during extended adjustment sequences.
The one piece 34 mm aircraft grade aluminum tube provides a rigid foundation for the optical and adjustment systems. Argon purging and sealed construction support waterproof and fogproof performance, while protective exterior lens coatings help resist scratches, oil, and dirt. The scope also provides 3.5 inch eye relief and side parallax adjustment beginning at 10 yards for flexible range and target conditions.
