The Vortex Viper HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binocular is ideal for people who need a powerful set of binoculars that can also stand up to punishment. The Viper HDs feature phase corrected prisms which are treated with reflective multi-coatings to increase resolution and contrast. The glass elements are also multi-coated to increase light transmission through the lenses. These binoculars also offer powerful 10x image magnification to put you right next to the subject you’re observing. Additionally, Votex designed the Viper HDs with rubber armor and scratch resistant lenses so it can stand up to use in any environment.
Multi-Coated Prisms and Optics
The image quality a pair of binoculars provides depends largely on the amount of light that's transmitted though the lenses and reflected through the internal prisms. In the Viper HDs, both of these optical elements are treated with multi-coatings that increase light transmission and reflection. The result is an exceptionally bright image with excellent contrast and color reproduction. These binoculars are great for use in environments when light is scarce, like during the dawn and dusk hours.
Rugged All-Terrain Construction
Because the internal optical systems of binoculars are delicate, Vortex has created a durable housing to protect the lenses from harm. The body is made of a magnesium alloy that resists corrosion, but is still lightweight. The body is also covered by a rubber coating that acts as armor against impact damage and provides a slip-resistant surface in wet environments. The lenses are scratch resistant and sealed with O-rings that make them waterproof and fogproof, as well. Regardless of the weather or environment you’re in, the Vortex Viper HDs can take it!

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
