The Walker’s XCEL 500BT OD Green Digital Electronic Muff combines sophisticated sound processing, intuitive menu navigation, and rich electronic control features with an intelligent, forward-thinking approach to design and ergonomics that delivers a hearing protection and enhancement system without precedent in shooting sports and hunting industries.
Sound-Activated Compression
The XCEL 500BT’s next-generation Sound-Activated Compression and variable Dynamic Sound Suppression automatically adjust compression time according to noise level intensity and duration instead of using conventional ‘fixed-time’ compression. The result is improved hearing protection, regardless of the sound environment. Additionally, the XCEL 500BT allows the wearer to select between four different listening modes: Universal (for sound amplification), Speech Clarity (for discriminating voices and enhancing verbal communication in a noisy environment), High Frequency (tuned specifically to hear steel target at long distances), and Power Boost (amplifies sound across the range of volume).
Easy Access Controls
All these modes are accessible via the soft-touch button control panel located on the headband. Voice prompts for the entire menu allow the user to select the available operational modes. This makes navigation very simple and removes the guesswork as to which mode the unit is in. The XCEL 500BT also comes with programmable auto shut-off, so forgetting to turn the muffs off and accidentally running out of batteries is a thing of the past.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth compatibility is another valuable feature. By pairing the XCEL 500BT to a mobile device, calls and notifications connect through the muffs. Messages and conversations can be heard clearly even in noisy environments.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
